Oregon in the fall is so beautiful. But it seems that it’s over before it’s begun. That’s why we just had to fit this post in today. We want you all to get out there this weekend and enjoy some beautiful Oregon autumn weather before it’s too late!!
Last fall, Jon and I and two friends hopped in our car and took off for Hood River to do the ‘fruit loop‘. We had a blast and I am certain you will too. Only an hour from Portland, Hood River is a gorgeous mecca of orchards, vineyards and farms. It’s beautiful in the springtime too, when all the orchards are in bloom. But the fall is really when it shines. Every kind of squash, apple and pear you could dream up is for sale at quaint little fruit stands and farms that are spread out in a loop through the area. We got started a little late, leaving Portland around 1pm. I highly recommend leaving a few hours earlier than that, because everything starts to close around 4pm. Read More
